PIONEER HI-BRED AWARDS SCHOLARSHIP TO AGRONOMY GRADUATE STUDENT


Department of Agronomy graduate student Keith King received a scholarship based on his submission to a competition sponsored by the Pioneer Black Employee Network.

King was one of two students at Iowa State University to receive $1000 scholarships from Pioneer Hi-Bred, a DuPont business.

King's studies focus on plant breeding and genetics. He is from Ada, Okla. and has been involved in a wide variety of extra-curricular activities, including MANRRS and the Agronomy Graduate Club. He also is the current adviser of Kappa Gamma.
